Belgians (4/27/13):

Frothy Mothy (BB Winner)

Twisted Crew in Seymour - Seasonal Availability - This smooth easy drinking Belgian is medium bodied with a distinct malty sweetness from the honey malt and well balanced by moderate dosing of cluster hops, finishing with the unmistakable banana and clove notes

Biere de Mars (BB Runner Up)

Bloomington Brewing Company - Seasonal Availability - Biere de Mars, meaning the Beer of March, is a traditional farmhouse style ale.  Brewed with French Saison yeast, we say hello to spring with warm, crisp tones of tart and sweetness.  Medium bodied and refreshing with flavors of clove, cranberry tart and mild sweet cream.  

Tripel de Ripple (BB Top 4)

Brugge Brasserie - Regular Availability - Tripel de Ripple is highlighted by notes of vanilla and pear delivered from our strain of yeast. Quite approachable for a beer of such strength, Tripel de Ripple masks its alcohol beneath an impressive layer of complexity while maintaining its remarkable drinkability

Belgian Trippelle (BB Top 4)

Bier Brewery - Special Release - Authentic Belgian Tripel with high, well hidden alcohol. Beautiful floral, soft perfume-like aromas balance the clean, malty awesomeness of the style.

Amber (12/8/12):

Buttface Amber (BB Winner)

RAM Indianapolis - Regular Availability - This medal-winning American style Amber features malty caramel  flavors and a smooth, slightly sweet finish.

KokoMonster Amber (BB Runner Up) 

Half Moon Brewery in Kokomo - Regular Availability - A strong ale that’s amber in color with a slightly sweet and malty flavor. It goes down smooth and easy, but packs a powerful punch.

Mustache Ride Red (BB Top 4)

Flat 12 Bierwerks in Indianapolis - Special Release - A rich American amber with hints of roasted malt and very moderate hop bitterness, aged in a bourbon barrel with real vanilla beans. 

Ruby Bloom Amber (BB Top 4)

Bloomington Brewing Co. in Bloomington - Regular Availability - Beautiful rich red-amber in color. Smooth with a hint of sweetness.

 

Wheat (9/29/12):

Sheet Metal Blonde (BB Winner)

Barley Island in Noblesville - Regular Availability (found in bottles) - Sheet Metal Blonde is a Belgian Wit beer that is light pale in color, cloudy, contains added spices, and best if served with a slice of orange.

El Jefe (BB Runner Up) 

Rock Bottom Downtown in Indianapolis - Seasonal Availability - A Hefeweizen with a wonderfully sweet, fruity, spicy, chewy taste of summer

Summer Wheat (BB Top 4)

Half Moon Brewery in Kokomo - Regular Availability - A nice refreshing American Wheat beer brewed with sweet orange peel and coriander

Currants and Cloves (BB Top 4)

RAM Indianapolis - Seasonal Availability - A traditionally brewed German Hefeweizen with flavors of banana and clove from the yeast and an infusion of black currants

Rock Bottom Downtown in Indianapolis - Seasonal Availability - A flavorful IPA with hints of grapefruit. 

Simcoe IPA (BB Runner Up) 

Rock Bottom College Park in Indianapolis - Sesasonal Release - The flavor of the simcoe hop adds to this balanced IPA.

Bier Brewery in Indianapolis - Seasonal Release - "Dang Good" IPA

Big Red Ale (BB Top 4)

RAM Indianapolis - Regular Availability - An American style IPA, combining the distinctive and assertive citrus flavor and aroma of amarillo hops with a crisp, pleasantly bitter finish.

Bourbon Barrel Aged (9/29/12):

Barrel Aged Big Horn Maibock (BB Winner)

RAM Indianapolis - Special Release - Big Horn Maibock featured a toasty and nutty malt character. After multiple months in the Harrison Bourbon barrel, flavors of caramel and vanilla have stolen the show with bourbon touches in the finish.

Barrel Aged Deadeye Stout (BB Runner Up) 

Triton Brewing in Indianapolis - Special Release - Our signature Oatmeal Stout aged in a bourbon barrel

Sinister Stout (BB Top 4)

Twisted Crew in Seymour - Regular Availability - A medium-full bodied sweet stout with an excellent balance of chocolate and roasted coffee notes and finishing with a slight sweetness imparted from the lactose. 

Lacto-Matic Milk Stout (BB Top 4)

Flat 12 Bierwerks in Indianapolis - Regular Availability - 

Malty and rich. 

Hints of chocolate and the nice roasty finish of coffee. 

Milk-sugar sweetness gives body and a full mouthfeel.
